How is it possible for an author to take so few words, so few pages, and make a short story read like full length novel?! By combining humor, fun, passion, sensuality, and witty dialogue and then not wasting a single word or thought.

Alexander Bell, yes you heard that right, is a chiropractor and when he realizes that his first patient of the day is his childhood tormentor, Richard Saunders, well…he freaks out a little. Ric has no idea who he is and Alex uses this knowledge to do a little tormenting of his own. Aside from all the fun in the book there is a serious underlying message about bullying.

However, once Ric reveals issues from his childhood that drove him to do what he did, I had to forgive him, even though he still had trouble forgiving himself. It felt complete and left me smiling. I highly recommend it. I chose the illustrated version and the pictures are classy and striking…just lovely.
