Annoying mouse vista

Just received my Dell D with Vista Ultimate. The problem is that sometimes when I boot or restart the system, Vista doesn't recognize my USB mouse, so I have to unplug and plug it again to make it work.

It is an intermittent issue, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried with three different mouse and the same thing happens. Can anyone help please? Try uninstalling your usb devices from the device manager, rebooting, and letting windows install them again for you.

Minor hijack sorry Drivers are up to date, bulb is functional and I've tried the basic fixes in the error message posted. Think it's possible to use your above advice?
