Grandstream 503 manual
What should I do? Not sure if you followed the steps as you were not explicit in the explanation. While close to the UCM, did you hook up a wired connection? Did you factory reset, which would have turned off the Wi-FI by default as well as returned the settings to their default values? Is the IP of the phone in the whitelist just to be certain that the IP is not getting blacklisted? Can you ping it and if so, what is the response time?
I have one sitting about 3 ft from me at present and when I ping it the response is less than 1ms. Only one time it unregistered. After that I factory reset.
Once I factory reset, it restarted and when restarted the phone automatically registered to SIP server but all other settings are cleared and phone is working fine. I dont know how it get registered after I reset. Then I tried to upgrade the firmware but I get File signature error. Is there any way to check this unregistering issue by checking logs or something?
Here I do checking by physically going frequently and try to make call and check. Hello, Thanks for the reply. I can see one created with address I reset the phone and tried with factory default settings.
Looks good and not getting unregistered since morning but need to make sure it is fixed Can you ping it and if so, what is the response time? Zero config is under Value added features. It allows you to set up a template that can be used to assist in the configuration of phones for those settings that would otherwise need to be done manually. You can set up a template by the model, establish the settings you want and then apply these to the applicable phones.
